Authenticator App Set up

Here’s a quick guide on how set up the Microsoft Authenticator app on IOS & Android.

1. Security Info Microsoft Edge

   Open up the security info page of your Microsoft account.

2. Click on Add sign-in method.

   

3. Choose Microsoft Authenticator

   

4. Installation Phone

   IOS

   Navigate to the App Store and search for Microsoft Authenticator.

   
   Android

   Navigate to the Google Play Store and search for Microsoft Authenticator.

   

   Install the app.

5. Set up Microsoft Edge

   Click Next.

   

6. Follow the instruction in the app to finish registering the account.

   

7. After that, phone sign-in is enabled.

   

8. You can verify that passwordless phone sign-in is enabled by selecting your account again.
   Passwordless sign-in requests is now listed in the Ways to sign in or verify section.
